   • Fiction or nonfiction aimed at teens and young adults that emphasize self-empowerment, social responsibility, or sustainable living.

5. Empowerment Award – Disability and Chronic Conditions Focus

   • Books that raise awareness or provide support for individuals living with disabilities or chronic conditions (like Sickle Cell). This can include fiction, memoirs, or educational books.
